"The human eye loves order - and Nature is all too happy to oblige. Patterns have evolved over the millennia to offer small pockets of order in an otherwise chaotic universe.  Our exhibition reveals the vast variety of patterns that we can find in the living world and in the inanimate world, from beneath the sea to a simple fungus to the mysterious footprints of a passing traveler in the sand dunes. We explore this variety with images that offer a view of just some of what Nature has to offer."
